We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Director to join our Divisional Financial Management team at the Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing accurate and timely financial advice and information to Directors, Budget Managers, and other Managers across the Trust, ensuring that all financial decisions are in accordance with Standing Financial Instructions.
Main Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Divisional Financial Management team to develop and implement financial strategies and plans.
- Provide financial guidance and support to Budget Managers and other Managers, ensuring that financial decisions are informed and effective.
- Develop and maintain financial models and reports to support decision-making and budgeting.
- Work closely with the Trust's finance team to ensure that financial information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Relevant qualifications in finance or a related field, such as AAT or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in financial management, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results.
