Job Title: Performance Team Lead

We are seeking an experienced Systems Modelling Engineer and People Manager to lead our RF Seeker Modelling and Performance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for using model-based systems engineering processes and auto-coding to rapidly iterate the design and achieve the required performance of the Seeker.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Modelling in MATLAB and Simulink using model-based design techniques
  2. Managing a Complex Seeker model including simulation of the RF environment, Seeker hardware and processor algorithms
  3. Task Package Management
  4. Development of algorithms within the model
  5. Interacting with a wide network of customers across multiple domains.
  6. Producing and verifying auto-code for the software algorithms from the model
  7. Managing system studies and performance analysis
  8. Ownership of Processes and model deliverables.
  9. Facilitating team development in modelling practices and algorithm design
  10. Assessing system performance through the models against the requirements
Requirements:
  1. Modelling and coding (significant experience of MATLAB and Simulink)
  2. Experience in Verification & Validation, configuration control and model release processes
  3. Team Leadership and People Management
  4. Good communication and stakeholder management
  5. Data analysis and technical report writing
