Key Responsibilities:- Ensure that projects consider security in the design by setting security needs and requirements to align with Legal & General's Security Policies and Standards.
- Review the design of in-flight or existing services to conduct risk assessments, identify security gaps, and articulate options for management.
- Provide expert Information Security advice to projects and stakeholders, working closely with key business leaders to ensure security issues are understood.
- Represent the Group Functions Security team to senior business stakeholders, identifying areas where the Security team can add value and support business ambitions.
- Actively work to improve the Group Functions IT Security Maturity and Capability, suggesting enhancements to processes and procedures.
- Well-versed in Security Design, risk assessment, and control selection.
- Experience with Access Control security, transportation security, secure architecture principles, cryptography, and operational controls.
- Knowledge of Threat modelling, control frameworks, and Risk assessment techniques (such as ISO27001, COBIT, COSO, ITIL, and NIST Cyber Security Framework).
