Role Overview
Pursuing a challenging career in payroll administration, you will be responsible for processing payrolls, managing statutory payments, and maintaining accurate records. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a portfolio of clients and develop your skills in payroll management.

About the Role
As a Payroll Administrator, you will be working with a leading practice within the Kent market, supporting the payroll team on a daily basis. Your responsibilities will include processing payroll for a range of clients, from 5 staff to over 200 staff, as well as managing auto-enrolment, SSP, SMP, SPP, and other statutory payments. You will also be responsible for processing all tax documentation, including student loans, P60s, pensions, and P45s, as well as answering client queries and maintaining accurate payroll records. In addition, you will develop relationships with clients and provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
- Processing payroll for a portfolio of clients (ranging from 5 staff to over 200 staff) on a weekly/monthly basis
- Managing auto-enrolment, SSP, SMP, SPP, and other statutory payments
- Processing all tax documentation, including student loans, P60s, pensions, and P45s
- Answering any client queries
- Maintaining accurate payroll records
- Developing relationships with clients

Requirements
- 2+ years experience within payroll, ideally within a practice or bureau environment
- Experience with Sage and/or Xero
- Organised and dedicated mind-set
- Able to cope with tight deadlines

Benefits
- Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum

- Hybrid working arrangement, with 3 days office-based and 2 days working from home
