We are seeking an accomplished Business Development Director to join our team. As a key member of our sales leadership group, you will play a vital role in driving business growth by identifying and developing new sales opportunities.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for professionally representing the company's brand and successfully selling our fire & security products within an allocated geographical area. This includes managing the existing client base, focusing on retention and development of each account in an assigned area, and identifying & targeting potential clients in the fire and security industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive business growth by identifying and developing new sales opportunities.
  • Professionally represent the company's brand and sell our fire & security products.
  • Manage the existing client base and focus on retention and development of each account.
  • Identify and target potential clients in the fire and security industry.
  • Attend appointments to sell our products and services, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Collate performance data and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Achieve agreed targets based on new business, existing business, and additional revenue streams.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay informed about industry trends.
  • Negotiate and close deals with customers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and business development within the fire and security industry.
  • A strong network of contacts and relationships within the industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A deep understanding of fire and security solutions and technologies.
  • A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales tools.
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.

What We Offer:

In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a highly competitive salary package, including:

  • A basic salary of £65,000, subject to experience.
  • An on-target earnings potential of circa £110,000.
