Job Title: Strategic Programme Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Programme Manager to lead our client engagements in the nuclear sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency and drive business development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical leadership: Utilising years of engineering experience through technical projects and leading others to do the same
  • Account Management: Drive the account forward, ensuring alignment with client objectives and long-term goals
  • Programme/Project Management: Lead and coordinate project activities to fulfil client requirements and drive operational efficiency
  • Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue opportunities within the account

Requirements:

Applicants will have a proven track record in their career to date and will be looking to use their skills on a wide range of activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following:

  • Project Management qualified, with significant experience in the nuclear sector
  • Proven expertise in leading complex projects, from initiation through to completion, with a focus on safety and compliance
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and nuclear regulations, backed up by Chartership (or chartered status in progress)
  • Ability to effectively engage and manage relationships with various stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, clients, and internal teams
  • Experience in identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks to ensure successful delivery
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop project teams, fostering a collaborative working environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations governing energy projects
  • Ideally located in the Southwest
