The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective management of contracts and commissioning arrangements, directly supporting the Trust's portfolio of contracts as a provider and commissioner of clinical services.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and implement effective performance management arrangements for all contracts and business activities, producing regular reports for senior management.
- Ensure that all procurement and contracting activities are carried out in accordance with legislation, health policies, and procedures, and principles of good practice, including ethics and probity.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including providers, commissioners, and other key partners.
- Support the Directorates in reviewing the performance of contracted services, ensuring they are regularly monitored and reviewed to ensure services are effective, meet statutory requirements, and deliver desired outcomes.
- Ensure actions from performance meetings are logged and followed through to completion with operational and management teams.
- Educated to Master's degree level or equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years NHS experience at a senior level, with experience of contract negotiations and performance management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
