Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Software Developer to join our Technology, Data, and Software Development (TDSD) teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing cutting-edge software solutions, working with a mixture of commercial and open-source software, and experimenting with the latest tools and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop software solutions using C#.NET, PostgreSQL, and Microsoft SQL Server databases.
  • Design and implement high-performance GIS and data management systems.
  • Work on database designs, query optimization, and tuning.
  • Develop advanced GPU modeling software.
  • Collaborate with the team to create mobile and browser-based asset management systems, business information systems, and other software solutions.

Requirements

  • Proven commercial experience in C#.NET web-based application development.
  • Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and/or Microsoft SQL Server databases.
  • Experience with HTML5, JavaScript, and frameworks, SASS/CSS.
  • API development and interfacing with third-party APIs.
  • Hangfire background services.
  • GIS technologies – QGIS, ArcGIS, FME.
  • Containers.
  • Cloud and hosting using Amazon Web Services.
  • Agile principles and methodologies.
  • Source control and process management.
