This position will drive the origination, design, and delivery of new business projects for the Private Markets platform in key growth areas, including Energy Transition, Impact Investing, Living, and Emerging Private Market sectors.
Our dynamic and expanding team is seeking a candidate with a strong background in the real estate, infrastructure, or private equity sectors, ideally in a client or investment-facing role. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working on growth projects in the private markets space and possess strong persuasive writing, business case, and presentation skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Leverage an extensive external network to originate innovative ideas, market intelligence, and opportunities for the platform.
- Deliver strategic new business projects that further LGIM's goal of Private Markets expansion.
- Pitch new business proposals to strategic investors and key internal stakeholders.
- Triage new business opportunities and coordinate business proposals and presentations to support new business initiatives.
- Act as a specialist subject matter expert to internal and external stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with LGIM's product and distribution teams to contribute specialist Private Markets knowledge for strategic growth projects.
- Contribute to business planning and project prioritisation.
- Support the Sales Team in distributing existing and new Private Markets solutions to grow AUM and revenue streams.
Requirements
- Experience working in the real estate, infrastructure, or private equity sectors, ideally in a client or investment-facing role.
- A passion for working on growth projects in the private markets space.
- Strong persuasive writing, business case, and presentation skills.
- A positive, can-do attitude to problem-solving and good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Organised and versatile, with an ability to multi-task.
- A collaborator who can connect well with teammates, reports, Fund Managers, and Senior Management.
- An ambition to succeed.
