We are partnering with an innovative energy technology company in the UK, specializing in the development, production, and installation of multi-megawatt wind turbines, gas turbines, and other energy solutions.



Job Summary


As a Senior Mechanical Field Service Professional, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional technical support to clients across the UK region. Your primary focus will be on commissioning, fault-finding, maintaining, and servicing equipment related to Compression & Gas Turbines product lines.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation, Maintenance, and Repair: Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment and systems, including turbines, compressors, and generators.
  • Inspections and Diagnostics: Conduct regular inspections and diagnostics to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Customer Support: Collaborate closely with customers to understand their needs and provide exceptional technical support.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations during all field activities.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed reports and documentation of service activities, including maintenance logs and performance metrics.
  • Training and Guidance: Provide training and guidance to customers' personnel on equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Professional Development: Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance service delivery.


About You


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual with a strong understanding of mechanical systems and principles. A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required, along with proven experience in mechanical field service engineering, preferably in the energy sector.



What We Offer


Our client offers a competitive salary range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth.



Location


This role is based in the UK region, with extensive travel requirements within the UK and occasionally abroad.
