Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Operations Manager to lead our UK-based commercial operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the commercial performance of our operational energy assets, working closely with asset managers and data engineering teams to optimize revenue generation and minimize ancillary services penalties.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the GB electricity market, experience managing a portfolio of operational energy assets, and excellent communication skills. They will also have the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the commercial performance of our operational energy assets, including ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and optimizing revenue generation.
  • Work closely with asset managers and data engineering teams to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Develop and implement strategies to minimize ancillary services penalties and maximize revenue from our operational energy assets.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on commercial performance, highlighting areas for improvement and recommending solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, engineering, economics).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial operations or a related field.
  • Proven track record of managing commercial operations teams and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of the GB electricity market and its regulatory framework.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
