Exciting Opportunity: 1:1 LAC Tutor Position Available

Location: Leeds

Salary Scale: Competitive hourly rate

Status: Full Time/Part time

GSL Education is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated 1:1 LAC Tutor to provide specialized educational support to children in need.

  • Deliver personalized tutoring sessions for Looked After Children to meet their educational requirements.
  • Offer tailored support in subjects like Maths, English, Science, and SEMH.
  • Create engaging lesson plans that cater to individual education plans.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods when needed.
  • Establish a supportive learning environment to help students reach their full potential.

Requirements:

  • Must have Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent tutoring experience.
  • Demonstrated experience working with children, especially those with special educational needs.
  • Comprehensive understanding of challenges faced by Looked After Children.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to connect with students.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children in need.
