Position Overview:
As our Head of Event Operations, you will oversee the operational framework of our catering business, ensuring seamless service delivery, quality, and efficiency. This role demands a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, a passion for luxury service, and proven experience in operations management within the hospitality and catering industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Develop and implement operational strategies that enhance service delivery, improve efficiency, and maintain our company's reputation for excellence.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Event Coordination: Oversee the planning and execution of events, ensuring seamless logistics and exceptional service at every stage.
- Supply Chain Management: Manage vendor relationships and procurement processes to ensure the highest quality ingredients and materials are used.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the operational budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness while maintaining quality standards.
- Quality Control: Implement and monitor quality assurance protocols to uphold our luxury standards in food, service, and presentation.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for staff and clients.
- Client Relations: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to ensure client expectations are met and exceeded and contribute to the development of new service offerings.
Experience:
- Proven experience in operations management within the catering or hospitality industry, preferably in a luxury context.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with a track record of developing talent.
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- A passion for food and a deep understanding of high-end catering trends.
