Job Title: Infrastructure Development Manager

Austin Fraser is seeking a driven and experienced Senior or Principal Civil Engineer to help grow and establish a civil engineering team in their new Manchester office. With at least 8 years of experience in civil engineering, the ideal candidate will have a strong track record in delivering infrastructure projects, including drainage, highways, and earthworks.

This pivotal role offers the opportunity to lead and develop a new team, working closely with the established team in the Chester office. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality civil engineering projects, driving the expansion of the Manchester office, and supporting business growth in the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Oversee the delivery of civil engineering projects, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.
  • Technical Delivery: Lead the technical design and delivery of infrastructure projects using industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroDrainage.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues in the Chester office and across the business to ensure successful project delivery and alignment with broader business goals.
  • Mentorship: Mentor and support junior engineers, contributing to their professional development and the overall success of the team.
