Safety and Emissions Manager

About Knowhirematch

We are seeking a highly experienced Safety and Emissions Manager to join our team. As a Safety and Emissions Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of effective environmental management systems and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement company-wide environmental policies and procedures, including the creation and maintenance of accurate documentation in environmental management systems.
  • Manage the execution of regulatory reporting and liaison activities, building strong relationships with regulatory agencies and ensuring timely submission of reports.
  • Lead the management of continuous emissions monitoring systems, guaranteeing accurate data collection and report submission.
  • Drive safety and health program improvements as part of the plant's OSHA VPP Star program, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with operational staff to identify and mitigate risks, reducing costs and improving overall performance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Regulatory expertise, including knowledge of Clean Air Act programs, CEMS, and quality assurance activities, is preferred.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful safety and environmental management systems.
