We are seeking an experienced Dynamics Functional Consultant to join our Digital Dynamics Team at the Health and Safety Executive. This exciting role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the modernisation of our services, ensuring operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will work closely with projects, business teams, analysts, and user experience specialists to deliver and maintain solutions that meet business needs. You will be part of the digital transformation of HSE, utilising your skills in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 365 and Power Platform to drive innovation and improvement.

About the Role

  • You will configure the CRM system to meet business and end-user needs, specifically utilising Customer Service and Field Service modules in Dynamics 365 and Power Apps Portal.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and architects to implement Microsoft Dynamics CRM solutions, ensuring seamless integration with other back-office solutions.
  • Use Azure DevOps to record development and configuration activities.
  • Monitor and assess data capacity within a solution to ensure efficient space utilisation.
  • Configure CRM workflows to support business processes, extract data, produce tailored reports, and respond to information requests.
  • Manage change and deployment cycles for new and existing implementations across the CRM platform.
  • Manage the efficient planning and delivery of new updates, modifications, and adoption of best practice policies, including research to identify opportunities to leverage new functionality within the system.
  • Manage and coach a team of CRM/Dynamics Support Analysts.

Essential Skills and Criteria

  • Good experience with Microsoft Dynamic CRM 365 (Customer Service and Field Service modules), specifically around solution and entity creation and deployment.
  • Proficient with configuring, deploying, and customising Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Power Apps Portal.
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps would be preferable but not essential.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript would be preferable.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in understanding and implementing business workflows and processes.
  • Knowledge of and experience using the Power Apps Platform Admin Centre for key environment management tasks and database management.
  • A good understanding of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Azure tenancy, Outlook, and Power Platform.
  • Experience creating, deploying, and managing Power Automate workflows.
