We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Specialist-one-to-one Study Skills Support Worker to join our team at Randstad. As a Specialist-one-to-one Study Skills Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing personalized academic support and guidance to students with specific learning difficulties (SpLDs) studying at Universities and/or Colleges in Sheffield.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one study skills support to students with SpLDs, helping them to build on their comprehension skills within reading and writing.
  • Work collaboratively with students to identify their strengths and areas for improvement, and develop personalized learning plans to support their academic success.
  • Deliver flexible and adaptable support, offering both in-person and online sessions to meet student preferences.
  • Travel to local Universities and Colleges to provide support to students, as required.

Requirements:

  • Ability to travel to local Universities and Colleges to provide support to students.
  • Flexibility to offer both in-person and online sessions to meet student preferences.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and colleagues.
  • Experience working with students with SpLDs, or a willingness to learn and develop this expertise.
