Your Purpose:
As a Senior Management Consultant, you will play a key role in helping our clients achieve genuine benefits from their business programmes. You will advise at senior levels on complex business challenges, taking a hands-on approach to ensure that solutions are delivered and the intended benefits of the investment are realised.
- Design and create programmes to support major transformations to ways of operating, e.g. across staff and locations.
- Use analysis, modelling, and technology to support drawing conclusions to meet the challenges of increased competition and expectations, e.g. increasing student retention or supporting a major new investment.
- Review existing feasibility studies, masterplans, and risk assessments to make robust and clear proposals and business cases that will challenge and validate realisation of benefits.
- Deliver solutions to improve efficiency, quality, and customer experience by optimising clients' resources, processes, and assets.
- Develop and deliver best-in-class tailored commercial, procurement, and supply chain consultancy for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Management Consultant, you will be expected to have regular interactions with clients, lead work-streams or projects, and support senior colleagues in delivering specific project outputs. You will be required to demonstrate capability and experience of Management Consulting delivery across four dimensions:
Client Interaction:
* Build trusted and lasting relationships with clients at all levels in a business environment.
* Present complex solutions and concepts effectively and make persuasive cases based on analysis.
* Develop and deliver training and coaching programmes to support clients in achieving their business objectives.
Business Development:
* Support or contribute to the sale of Business Consulting work, including bid development and presentation delivery.
* Develop and maintain strong commercial acumen and be comfortable with managing bids and end-to-end assignment financial management.
* Collaborate with colleagues to deliver great results and operate to high behavioural standards and business ethics.
Qualifications:
* Having or willing to work towards Management Consultant Chartership (ChMC).
