**Job Title:** Domestic Abuse Prevention Advisor

**Estimated Salary:** $60,000 - $70,000 per annum

**Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Domestic Abuse Prevention Advisor to join our team in Wiltshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality support services to children and young people who have been affected by domestic abuse.

• To provide specialist support to children and young people who have experienced domestic abuse, empowering them to make informed decisions about their lives.
• Manage a caseload of low to high-risk children and young people, conducting assessments, developing support plans, and reviewing progress.
• Work closely with multi-agency partners, including schools, health professionals, and social services, to ensure the best possible outcomes for service users.
• Assist with recruiting children and young people to participate in group work interventions, providing ongoing support and guidance.
• Run groups for children and young people following a planned program, promoting self-awareness, confidence, and participation.

• A degree in a relevant field, such as social work or psychology, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with service users, colleagues, and partner agencies.
• Strong assessment and planning skills, with the ability to identify and address the needs of children and young people.
• Experience of working with vulnerable populations, particularly children and young people who have experienced trauma.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet the needs of service users and the organization.
