About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at Wessex Water. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective operation of plant machinery and equipment at our water recycling sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive work on our water recycling sites.
  • Ensure the effective operation of plant machinery and equipment.
  • Carry out fault finding, fault diagnosis, and fault resolution.
  • Confidently seek to make continuous improvements on our water recycling sites to reduce the risk of them not performing to their full potential.
Requirements
  • A can-do attitude and a flexible approach to work activities.
  • Ongoing development opportunities to develop your skillset and knowledge.
  • Competence in three-phase and single-phase power, control circuits, and finding faults.
  • A minimum City & Guilds/BTEC, NVQ Level 3 or a time-served electrical apprenticeship.
  • Excellent health and safety awareness and IT literacy.
  • A valid driving licence, as there will be regular travel to various sites within the region.
