Water Recycling Specialist

Are you looking for a challenging role that involves working outdoors and dealing with physical work? Do you have excellent decision-making, reporting, and communication skills? We are seeking a Water Recycling Operator to join our Salisbury water recycling team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the operation and maintenance of conventional sewage treatment plants and pumping stations to meet quality standards.
  • Be involved in running advanced wastewater treatment and sludge process plants.
  • Ensure compliance with company policy, processes, and procedures.
  • Ensure the health, safety, and welfare of all colleagues, the public, and yourself at all times.
  • Provide emergency cover on the standby rota and take part in a shift pattern when applicable (an average of 40 hours per week).

Requirements:

  • Experience of working unsupervised in an industrial or process plant is essential.
  • Electrical or mechanical experience would be desirable.
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English, maths, and a technical subject.
  • Be happy working outside in all conditions.
  • A valid driving licence.
