Learning Support Coordinator

BeBee Professionals in Mitcham seeks a caring and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to provide individualized support to students with special educational needs. The ideal candidate will play a key role in helping students overcome learning barriers and achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities:- Collaborate closely with teachers to support students with special educational needs (SEN).
- Provide one-on-one or small group support during lessons to enhance student understanding and progress.
- Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) to cater to diverse student needs.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
- Experience working with children with special educational needs is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students, parents, and educators.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to diverse learning styles.
- Relevant qualifications in education or SEN support are preferred.
- A competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum.
