Mechanical Technician

White Raven Resourcing Ltd is acting as a recruitment agency for permanent recruitment services. Our client is a world leader in providing process solutions in the fields of powder and particle processing technology and blown film technology.
Key Responsibilities:- Complete mechanical assemblies in line with technical assembly drawings.
- Complete mechanical installations, documentation, permits, and equipment qualifications at customer sites.
- Ensure that all work carried out is in line with customer specifications and standards.
- Mechanical fitting and assembly of mechanical components such as precision machined parts, bearings, lip and mechanical seals, belts, pulleys, motors, and gearboxes.
- Time served mechanical fitter with a minimum of 4 years hands-on experience.
- Qualified to a minimum of Level 4 in a Mechanical discipline.
- Good understanding of mechanical principles and precision mechanisms.
- Ability to read and understand mechanical engineering drawings.
- Accuracy and attention to detail to produce a high standard of work.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to operate machine tools (Lathe, Milling Machine, etc...) would be a benefit.
- Competitive base salary £34k (plus overtime) with an additional overnight rate bonus.
- 38 hour week over 4 days, Monday to Thursday.
- 20 days holiday going to 21.5 days after 5 years' service, plus statutory bank holidays.
