Job Description

White Raven Resourcing Ltd is a leading recruitment agency providing permanent recruitment services. Our client is a world-renowned leader in process solutions, specializing in powder and particle processing technology, as well as blown film technology.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and professional Mechanical Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing mechanical assemblies in line with technical assembly drawings, ensuring all work meets customer specifications and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete mechanical assemblies in line with technical assembly drawings.
  • Complete mechanical installations, documentation, permits, and equipment qualifications at customer sites.
  • Ensure all work carried out meets customer specifications and standards.
  • Perform mechanical fitting and assembly of mechanical components, including precision machined parts, bearings, lip and mechanical seals, belts, pulleys, motors, and gearboxes.
  • Be involved in other aspects of work within the business as required.
Requirements
  • Time-served mechanical fitter with a minimum of 4 years' hands-on experience.
  • Qualified to a minimum of Level 4 in a Mechanical discipline.
  • Good understanding of mechanical principles and precision mechanisms.
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical engineering drawings.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail to produce a high standard of work.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to operate machine tools (Lathe, Milling Machine, etc.).

  • Competitive base salary (£34,000, plus overtime) with an additional overnight rate bonus.
  • 38-hour week over 4 days (Monday to Thursday).
