About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team at a prestigious hotel. As a key member of our culinary brigade, you will be responsible for leading a section of the kitchen and contributing to the creation of exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and oversee the day-to-day operations of your section to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Implement and maintain high standards of health and hygiene in the kitchen
  • Supervise and mentor a team of Commis and Demi Chefs to ensure they are equipped to deliver exceptional results
  • Sample and inspect food to ensure it meets our high standards and recipes
  • Communicate effectively with the Sous Chef and other kitchen staff to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
  • Manage inventory and requisition supplies to maintain optimal stock levels
  • Contribute to the development of new menu ideas and dishes
  • Participate in food production and portion control to minimize waste and optimize food costs
  • Collaborate with back-of-house staff to maintain efficient food production and service
Requirements
  • NVQ levels 2 and 3 in culinary arts or equivalent
  • Experience working in a Michelin-starred or AA Rosette establishment
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and styles
  • Excellent understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
  • COSHH knowledge and certification
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in kitchen management systems
  • The right to work in the United Kingdom
