This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Plymouth-based school. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in helping students with Special Educational Needs achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide individualized support to students with SEND, adapting teaching methods to cater to their unique needs.
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement effective lesson plans, incorporating strategies to engage and motivate students.
- Monitor student progress, identifying areas where additional support may be required and communicating this to teachers and parents.
Requirements and Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience working with primary school-aged children, particularly those with SEND.
- Relevant degree or equivalent qualification (e.g., education, child development).
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
