Teaching Support Specialist Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified Teaching Support Specialist to join our primary SEN provision team in Plymouth. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment for children with diverse SEN.

About the Role

  • Work closely with the class teacher to adapt lessons and activities to meet individual student needs.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance student engagement and participation.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide regular updates to parents and guardians.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, students, and parents to ensure seamless collaboration.

Requirements and Benefits

  • Experience working with children with SEN, preferably in a primary school setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A valid driving license and business insurance for travel between locations.
  • A competitive salary ranging from £24,000 to £30,000 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience.
