We are seeking highly motivated and dedicated individuals to join our team as Residential Prison Officers. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and secure supervision of those in our care.
Your primary responsibility will be to provide a supportive and caring environment for individuals in custody, promoting positive behaviors and encouraging rehabilitation and reintegration initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Encourage positive behaviors in individuals through a supportive, caring, and inclusive approach.
- Contribute to the prevention and constructive management of challenging and/or difficult behaviors.
- Manage individuals' case work and exercise professional judgment in responding to particular needs and challenges.
- Complete all administration and communications relevant to the role, in line with local and national requirements and standards.
- Contribute to effective operational risk management by ensuring the safe and secure supervision of those in SPS care.
- Manage conflict and contribute towards local incident management using established and approved techniques.
