About the Role
Job Title: Shop Manager
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Retail Store Manager to lead our charity shop in Bournemouth. As a Shop Manager, you will be responsible for providing a brilliant shopping experience for our customers, leading a team of staff and volunteers, and achieving financial targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team that provides exceptional customer service and creates a welcoming shopping environment.
- Work on the shop floor, coordinating activities, and managing stock and inventory.
- Design and implement effective store layouts and visual merchandising to drive sales and engagement.
- Manage staff and volunteers, providing training, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure high standards are met.
- Represent the British Red Cross in a professional manner, embodying our core values and promoting our mission.
Requirements:
- Proven retail experience at supervisory level, with a track record of delivering outstanding customer service and managing cash handling duties.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, with a focus on achieving financial targets and driving sales growth.
- Strong IT skills, with experience using retail software and systems.
- Passion for the British Red Cross cause and commitment to promoting our mission in the community.
