We are seeking an experienced Retail Store Manager to lead our team at our charity shop in Bournemouth. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, managing a team of staff and volunteers, and driving sales growth.

A Day in the Life of a Retail Store Manager

  • Leading a team that provides a brilliant shopping experience for customers
  • Working on the shop floor, coordinating activity, and designing the perfect layout and environment
  • Being responsible for achieving financial targets and inducting, training, and managing new staff and volunteers
  • Representing the British Red Cross to a high standard and embodying our core values

Requirements

  • Retail experience at supervisory level, with a proven track record of delivering outstanding customer service
  • Proven management skills, with the ability to develop and inspire a team
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, with the ability to work to targets and use initiative to achieve results
  • Excellent IT skills, with experience of using a PC and relevant software
  • Passion for the British Red Cross cause and the ability to promote the shop in the community
