Counsellor/Psychotherapist

We are seeking a qualified Counsellor/Psychotherapist to join our team at My Life Counselling UK (MLCUK). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Counselling, with a commitment to safeguarding and managing risk.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality CBT and Counselling services to clients.
- Work with clients to identify and address mental health issues, including depression, anxiety disorders, and trauma.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans, using evidence-based interventions.
- Provide empathetic and non-judgmental support to clients, promoting a safe and supportive therapeutic environment.
- Collaborate with other professionals, including GPs and other healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements:
- BABCP/BACP registration (full or provisional).
- Experience working in the NHS, with a minimum of 200 face-to-face client hours.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with clients using CBT and Counselling skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A degree in Psychology or Counselling is desirable, but not essential.
