We are seeking a skilled IT Category Manager to join our team at Russell Taylor Group Ltd. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing an IT category strategy that drives cost savings and value for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement an IT category strategy that aligns with our business objectives
- Work closely with the category management team to ensure effective category management practices
- Document and update the department risk register to identify and mitigate potential risks
- Track and report on savings and value achieved through SAP ARIBA
- Prepare regular reports to stakeholders on category performance and progress
- Engage with 3rd party stakeholders and influence supplier relationships to drive value
- Relevant CIPS certification
- Technical or business degree
- 7-10 years of purchasing experience in a related role, preferably in IT
- Proven track record in negotiation and supplier relationship management
- ERP systems knowledge, including SAP and SAP ARIBA
