Category Management Associate

Newell Brands is a leading global consumer goods company with a strong portfolio of well-known brands. As a Category Management Associate, you will support the growth of our product categories and contribute to our customers' success in the UK and Ireland cluster.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Examine industry and consumer data to identify trends and shape strategies for product categories.
  • Suggest pricing, promotions, and product placements to boost sales and profits within assigned categories.
  • Nurture relationships with customers to achieve successful implementation of recommendations.
  • Work alongside marketing and commercial teams to create strategies and tactics, drawing on syndicated data and consumer insights.
  • Handle segment-specific requests and coordinate information sharing, track and report on category performance, proposing actions when necessary.
Requirements:
  • Good command of MS Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with syndicated data, measures, and software.
  • Willingness to travel 10-20% of the time.
  • Exposure to Category Management in a mass-market retailer setting.
