Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Volunteer System Supporter to join our team at the National Trust. As a key member of our Volunteer Systems & Process team, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding support to our volunteers and managers.

About the Role

In this exciting opportunity, you will work closely with the System Process Lead and Volunteer System Support Team to improve the experience for our volunteers and their managers. Your key responsibilities will include configuring pages in our volunteer portal (Blackbaud CMS/BBIS) using standard templates and HTML, ensuring the system is user-friendly and efficient. You will also create standard operating procedures and reference documents for system administrators, helping them navigate the updated processes.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Experience administering Blackbaud CRM and CMS platforms and HTML configuration of their BBIS (Blackbaud Internet Services) web pages.
  • Excellent communication skills that can be tailored to a varied customer base, delivered through a variety of channels.
  • Problem solving skills, with an ability for creative solutions.
  • Adaptability to work at pace to manage and prioritise tasks.
  • Interest in data analysis, with an ability to read and interpret data.
  • An acumen for influencing & negotiation; with a curiosity to understand and interpret the customer's needs and implement that understanding into successful solutions.
