Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Goods In and Stores Coordinator to join our team in Derby. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to play a critical role in the receipt, inspection, and storage of materials, components, and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure timely and accurate receipt of goods from suppliers, including unloading, inspecting, and verifying deliveries against orders and delivery notes.
  • Coordinate with procurement and suppliers regarding any discrepancies in deliveries and document and report any issues or non-compliance to the quality control team.
  • Inspect incoming goods for damage, non-conformance, or quality issues and log received items into the inventory management system (ERP system).
  • Label and store materials in designated warehouse locations and conduct regular stock checks and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Complete all required documentation for goods receipt, including packing slips, delivery notes, and inspection reports, and ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in a similar high-precision industry, preferably in a Goods In, Warehouse, or Stores role.
  • Ability to work closely with production to ensure timely delivery of materials.
