Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a Sales and Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical advice and guidance to customers, generating quotations and proposals, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical advice and guidance to customers on compressed air systems and associated mechanical engineering products.
  • Generate and provide quotations and proposals to customers.
  • Provide technical support and cover to other Sales Engineers and all aspects of Customer Services.
  • Learn all aspects of administration, including order processing, invoicing, and checking order confirmations.
  • Liaise with various engineering departments.
Requirements
  • Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed and grow with a reputable company.
  • Experience in any sales, customer service, or technical background associated with engineering.
  • Full training is being provided, however having previously sold an engineering product, spare parts, or a background working in an engineering environment is beneficial.
  • Compressor Service Engineer looking to come off the tools and move into a technical sales role are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience as an Internal Sales Engineer, Technical Sales Support Engineer, Engineering Administrator, Contracts Engineer, Proposals Engineer, Sales Executive, Technical Sales Advisor, or similar customer service position, ideally within engineering.
  • Technical aptitude and/or understanding of engineering equipment - mechanical or industrial engineering products is advantageous but not essential.
  • Apprentice trained, HNC, HND, or Degree in engineering would be beneficial.
