Job Title: Automation Architect

We are looking to recruit an Automation Architect to join our team at Addition+. As a bespoke IT Consultancy, we provide technical and business consulting to secure clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Work closely with the assigned team to produce and contribute to technical plans/designs across the business.
  2. Design automations and maintain the everything-as-code architecture document set, utilizing DevSecOps cadences, processes, and tools.
  3. Design the technical components of the system and provide feedback to team members, proposing improvements/fixes/work arounds in a clear and timely way.
Essential Experience, Qualifications, and Skills:
  • Proven experience in guiding the Architectural direction of a similar environment, communicating with all levels of the business.
  • Ability to demonstrate systems automation, CI/CD experience, CI/CD, DevSecOps tool chains, including but not limited to, Ansible, Git, Terraform, Kubernetes, Atlassian suite.
  • Ability to create and contribute to systems build and post-build automation documentation.
  • Strong knowledge of physical and virtual networking, physical and virtual servers, physical and virtual storage, applications, operating systems, and associated management software, hypervisors, containers, container repositories, and more.
