We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Worker to join our Children Looked After Team. As a Systemic borough, relational-based practice is the foundation of everything we do.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalised care plans for children and young people in care.
  • Assess and address the developmental, emotional, and educational needs of children and young people, offering appropriate interventions.
  • Monitor and review the progress and outcomes of care plans, making adjustments as required to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and young people.
  • Lead on reunification plans where children can return home safely.
  • Lead on care proceedings for children unable to remain in the care of their family while decisions are made.
