Industrial Health and Safety Specialist

CSS Contracts Support Services Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Manager to join its team in Braintree, Essex. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the company's compliance with all health and safety regulations and legislation.
Main Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and maintain effective health and safety policies and procedures across the organization.
- Conduct regular site audits to identify potential hazards and ensure that corrective actions are taken promptly.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement risk assessments and method statements for construction projects and factory operations.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on health and safety matters to employees and contractors.
- Evaluate and improve existing health and safety protocols to minimize risks and maximize efficiency.
- Ensure all employees receive comprehensive training on health and safety procedures and best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of health and safety inspections, incidents, and training programs.
- A recognized health and safety qualification, such as NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A valid CSCS card.
- A full UK driving license for frequent travel throughout East Anglia and London.
- A competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
