Finance Business Partner Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner to join our team at Marc Daniels Specialist Recruitment Limited. This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional to work with a high-end hospitality company based in Reading.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General Ledger accounting experience, including month-end responsibilities and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Identifying underperforming contracts and providing solutions.
  • Preparation of month-end reports and accurate forecasts.
  • Manage budgeting process for Operations and help with the identification of actions needed to deliver.
  • Support Operations Directors in monthly trading process.
  • Initial investment appraisal with sales and operations.
  • Debt reporting.
  • Support the audit process during relevant audit periods.
  • Training of operational teams in financial concepts and rules.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years' experience in a management accounting role or a finance role working in a service company.
  • Experience of managing both the balance sheet and P&L of a business.
  • Part or fully qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong MS Excel skills.
  • Own a car and a valid UK driving licence.
