Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner to join our team at Virgin Media O2. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for optimising Customer Service performance, driving cost efficiencies and challenging spend through reporting and analysis.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing finance support to the operation owners of a 170m budget covering Customer Service (Mobile & Fixed Care), and all associated expenditure. You will work closely with the operations team to deliver robust planning cycles, monthly rolls, quarterly plans, annual budget and 3YP, with clear and insightful analysis/supporting packs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver bottom-up budgeting and forecasting process by cost centre for the Opex spend to meet planned target requirements and support the team in delivery of budget
  • Drive cost efficiencies and challenge spend through reporting and analysis
  • Provide finance support to the operation owners of a 170m budget covering Customer Service (Mobile & Fixed Care), and all associated expenditure
  • Work closely with the operations team to deliver robust planning cycles, monthly rolls, quarterly plans, annual budget and 3YP, with clear and insightful analysis/supporting packs
Requirements
  • Professional Accountancy Qualification - ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent
  • Strong Financial Systems knowledge (Essbase / Oracle) and Advanced Excel modelling
  • Relevant Business Partnering background
  • Strong analytical skills to deliver detailed and accurate reporting
  • Previous Telecommunications experience is advantageous but not crucial
