**About the Role**

MWH Treatment, a leading provider of water and wastewater solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Principal Civil Engineer to join our Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the design team in delivering high-quality design solutions that meet customer requirements and project objectives.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • **Health and Safety**: Ensure excellence in Health & Safety in design, complying with relevant local specifications, codes, rules, regulations, and requirements.
  • **Design Leadership**: Lead the Design team in delivery of their responsibilities, ensuring a focused approach to meet customer requirements and project objectives.
  • **Cost Management**: Be accountable for expenditure, drive efficiency, and manage overall outturn costs for design, producing design deliverables within allocated resource hours and key dates.
  • **Design Management**: Organize all elements of design, documenting it in the Design Management Plan, and preparing monthly status update reports as necessary.
  • **Technical Expertise**: Ensure that the technical solution is produced to outperform on costs, while maintaining quality standards and delivery on time.
  • **Collaboration**: Communicate and work effectively with people from other partner organizations, backgrounds, and disciplines, utilizing their knowledge and experience.
  • **Customer Service**: Recognize and provide exceptional customer service both internally and with partners and externally with the client, their customers, and the general public.
  • **Representation**: Represent the whole of the MWH business and RSK Group of companies in all client contacts and promote the MWH / RSK reputation.
  • **Professionalism**: Maintain a positive and solution-oriented approach to work, providing open and honest feedback.
