About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated CAMHS Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, evidence-based care to children and young people with mental health problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assessment, formulation, and interventions to support the needs of children and young people
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
  • Engage with children, young people, and their families to promote positive relationships and outcomes
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Core profession qualifications and experience
  • Assessor and mentorship training
  • Post-registration training in the relevant field
  • Experience of mentorship, supervision, and coordination of staff
  • Experience of care planning and risk management
