About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Trainer to join our team at Hickory's Smokehouse. As a Restaurant Trainer, you will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs to our restaurant teams, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to provide exceptional customer service and deliver our 'Southern Hospitality' mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver training programs to restaurant teams
  • Recruit and train new team members
  • Lead team trips and implement our 'Southern Hospitality' mindset
  • Coach and develop team members to achieve their full potential
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations

Requirements

  • Previous training or coaching experience in a similar role within a fast-paced or high-volume restaurant environment
  • Previous experience with project management
  • Ability to work to strict timeframes and overnight stays
  • Love to pass on knowledge to team members and guests
  • Ability to motivate, coach, train, and develop team members
  • Passionate about delivering an amazing guest experience
  • Welcoming, empathetic, and infectious personality
  • Drive to find grey areas and think outside the box
  • Ability to evaluate processes and bring new ideas
  • Open and honest communication skills
