Freight Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Freight General Manager to join our team at CREDIBLE RECRUITMENT LIMITED. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading our ocean freight operations and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a team of freight operations staff to ensure efficient and effective delivery of ocean freight services.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and increase customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of ocean freight services with other business functions.
- Manage and maintain relationships with key customers, suppliers, and partners to ensure mutual benefit and growth.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and implement training programs to ensure staff have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, and industry standards.
- Manage and control budgets to ensure financial targets are met.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in ocean freight operations, with a proven track record of success.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a management role, with a focus on operations and customer service.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and partners.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement solutions to complex problems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of ocean freight operations, including logistics, transportation, and customs clearance.
