Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled SEN Support Professional to join our team at TeacherActive. The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 qualification or minimum 6 months experience working with vulnerable students, particularly those with Autism and SEMH needs.

The successful candidate will work with students, teachers and therapists to develop personalized support plans, de-escalate challenging situations and promote a safe learning environment.

The role offers a competitive salary of approximately £25,000 per annum, along with a Guaranteed Payment Scheme, CPD Courses and certificates, and a dedicated team to support the onboarding process.

Main Responsibilities include:

  • Implementing strategies to de-escalate challenging situations
  • Developing and delivering engaging lessons tailored to individual students' needs
  • Carrying out 1:1 and group learning support to students with additional needs

Our staff are paid on a PAYE basis, ensuring accurate tax and national insurance payments. All applicants will undergo an enhanced DBS check, ID checks and provide good professional references.
