Nurse Assessor Role

In this exciting opportunity, you will work as a Nurse Assessor for Donard Recruitment, providing comprehensive assessments for the Government's disability allowance (PIP). You will be responsible for delivering face-to-face and virtual assessments, managing caseloads from end to end, and ensuring a personalised, inclusive, safe, and empathetic service for the service user.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver unbiased, comprehensive assessments for PIP claims
  • Manage caseloads from initial review calls to final reports
  • Assess a range of health conditions and disabilities affecting claimants

Requirements:

  • Qualified Nurse, Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, or Paramedic
  • Valid registration on NMC or HCPC without restrictions

Benefits:

  • Basic salary of £38,500 - £41,500 per annum
  • 5% retention bonus rising to 10%
  • Hybrid full-time and part-time working hours available
  • Training options: 12 weeks (full-time), 14 weeks (4 days/week), and 17 weeks (3 days/week)
