About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with pupils who require special education support. As a SEN teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and developing strategies to meet the diverse needs of our students.

The successful candidate will have excellent classroom management skills, be able to deploy various techniques to support students, and possess a clear sense of purpose. You will also need to be able to work collaboratively with the school community to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver quality first teaching to students across a range of abilities
  • Develop and implement tailored learning plans to meet individual student needs
  • Work effectively with specialists, such as speech and language therapists, to provide comprehensive support
Requirements
  • Excellent teaching skills, with experience of teaching SEN students
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and use behaviour management techniques
  • High level of interpersonal skills, enabling effective communication with students, parents, and staff
