Pump Engineer Foreman Job Description

Ambitek Limited is seeking an experienced Pump Engineer Foreman to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading our pump service and maintenance operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of service engineers to ensure efficient and effective pump repair and installation work.
  • Assist with quotations, hands-on repair and installation work, workshop management, and maintenance scheduling.
  • Oversee and promote Health and Safety practices within the workshop and on-site.
  • Manage the workload, scheduling of work, non-productive time, discipline, communication, training, and other aspects of shopfloor supervision.
  • Liaise with sales and works stores to ensure jobs are completed correctly and on time.
  • Maintenance scheduling and calibration of equipment, as well as maintenance scheduling of the building and machinery.
  • Ensure all vans are regularly serviced, MOT-checked, and fully legal at all times.
  • Assist with the ongoing training of future engineers and mentoring of apprentice engineers.
Requirements:
  • Experience in pump service and maintenance, with a strong background in leadership and management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on Health and Safety.
