Part-time Hospital Pharmacist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Part-time Hospital Pharmacist to join our team at a hospital in the Midlands/Leicester area. As a Part-time Hospital Pharmacist, you will be responsible for covering various physical health wards, completing clinical screening of prescriptions, and dispensing medication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Covering various physical health wards, including Renal, Medical, Surgical, and Orthopaedic wards
  • Completing clinical screening of prescriptions and dispensing medication
  • Working in a predominantly ward-based post with minimal dispensary cover needed

Requirements:

  • Some prior community pharmacy experience
  • Keen to work within the NHS and learn quickly

Working Arrangements:

  • Part-time hours (2-3 weekdays per week)
  • 9am - 5.30pm (1 hour lunch)
  • No on-call or weekend working needed

About the Role:

This is a short-term post, lasting 6 months. The service requires someone to start from mid-Late September. The role is an excellent opportunity for a Part-time Hospital Pharmacist to gain experience in a hospital setting and work with a dedicated team.
